Molly grew up in Pennsylvania and started working professionally in the teen years at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production included The Snow Queen. Her nomination was for an Barrymore Award nominee for her part as Little Red Ridinghood at the Arden Theater's production of Into the Woods. The actress reprised her role as Little Red Ridinghood when she made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002 and was nominated for the Drama League Award. Molly was also a part of the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. When she graduated from Princeton University, where she graduated with the degree of B.A. with a major in religion and joined the Triangle Club member, Molly went on to attend Princeton University. It was during this time that she made her movie debut in the Disney film College Road Trip in the role of Wendy Greenhut. While she was in university, Molly made her acting debut in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. After graduation Molly performed in several Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly played involved in the 2008 Barrington Stage Company production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and also in the year Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 performance of The Diary of Anne Frank where she starred as Anne. Molly is most well-known for her role as Ali who is a teen daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a 2010 film in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed. ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
