Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actress, television presenter, artist on record and entrepreneur. The award-winning actress has received numerous accolades over the course of her professional career. The actress was nominated for twice for Gawad Urian Award. Curtis played in numerous TV shows including Hiram Campanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2009) Green Rose (2009) and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). She played Dyesebel as the Komiks icon in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She hosted It's Showtime at noontime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17 February, 1985 in Australia and Philippines, is a television actress presenter and entrepreneur as well as a recording artist. Her achievements include numerous awards throughout her time in the industry, including two FAMAS Awards, a Luna Award, two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards in addition to five PMPC Star Awards in the television category. Also, Curtis has received the number of PMPC Star Awards nominations and two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis starred in a number of TV shows, including Hiram (2004 through the year 2005), Maging Sino Dyosa (2005), Green Rose (2011), Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003) and Kampanerang Kuba (2005). In 2014, she played the iconic Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. The actress was also host of It's showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father got married Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Jasmine is her sister who is an actor. Clare is a cousin of theirs on the father's end. Clare passed away at 4 months in 2007 from an illness of the heart.
