Laura Linney
Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York, New York U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was raised in a family of actors, as her father Romulus Linney plays a writer. In 1986, she graduated in the class of 1986 from Brown University. She then went on to study Theatre Arts at Arts Theatre School Moscow before finishing her studies at Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. The actress began performing in the city on Broadway and was awarded awards for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
